Eugene School District 4J is committed to the optimal development of every student and the improved health status and morale of our staff. We believe that for students and staff to have the opportunity to achieve personal, academic, developmentalA red apple with green leaves, with the text 'Wellness Policy' written on it., social and professional success, we need to create positive, safe, and health-promoting environments throughout the year. By fostering healthy eating habits and engaging in consistent physical activity, 4J believes not only will our students and staff benefit for a lifetime, but that these benefits will have positive and lasting impacts on both our families and communities.

We welcome all students, parents, community members, teachers, district staff and administrators to actively engage with our Local Wellness Program. In the coming months, the Board will be signing a new Wellness Policy and we’ll be updating these webpages accordingly.
