EmpowerED: 4J's Education Leadership Program

Ready to lead and inspire the next generation? EmpowerED gives you real-world experience in education, helping you develop the skills to support students in today’s classrooms. Intern in local schools, partner with experienced teachers, and even travel to collaborate with people with diverse lived experiences. You’ll learn how to create inclusive spaces, support learners, and prepare for a rewarding career in education. Whether you want to pursue a career in teaching or explore other roles in education, EmpowerED prepares you to make a lasting impact!

WHO: Any incoming 4J Juniors or Seniors who are interested in K-12 Education.

– NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

WHEN: Choose from two sessions:

- Morning Session Periods 1, 2, 5, and 6

- Afternoon Session Periods 3, 4, 7, and 8

- Lunch provided

WHERE: CALCI, 1045 Willamette St, Eugene, OR 97401

TRANSPORTATION: School buses transport students from their schools. Students may also ride LTD.
