Classroom Grant Awards Announced
Eugene Education Foundation has awarded nearly $202,000 in classroom grants supporting 4J teachers and programs for the current school year.
The grants will support impactful initiatives in the arts, STEM (science, technology, mathematics, engineering and mathematics), literacy, wellness, and more—enriching education opportunities for students across our schools. This wouldn’t be possible without the generous donors who fuel EEF’s mission and make transformative opportunities for 4J students a reality.
Some standouts among the 77 awards (you can find the full list here) include:
- Funding for music programs like ukuleles at North Eugene High School and trumpets at Kennedy Middle School.
- Library reinvigoration projects at McCornack Elementary School and bibliotherapy resources for the district.
- Inclusive sports equipment and recess programs for healthier, happier students.
- Assistive technology like the Vibe Board for deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
- Cutting-edge STEM initiatives, including better microscopes at Spencer Butte Middle School Eugene and robotics projects at Family School K-5.
4J is grateful for EEF’s dedication to enriching the lives of students and empowering its educators.
