2027-28 School Year Calendar

4J is pausing approval of the following year's calendar, for the 2027-28 school year. The district moved to a two-year calendar in 2024 to improve planning for families regarding days off and for staff regarding academic initiatives and professional learning.

The district is is awaiting word on the implications from Gov. Tina Kotek's recent executive order on student instructional time. The Oregon Department of Education is working through the rules to implement the executive order and any impacts they carry for school districts across Oregon.

The district will provide updates as they become available.
