Required Annual Notices for Families

Eugene School District 4J is required by federal and state laws and board policy (KAB-Parental Rights) to give certain rights to parents/guardians and to students 18 years of age or older (“eligible students”) relating to topics including education records, directory information, privacy, surveys, statewide assessments, and human sexuality education. The purpose of this notice is to provide parents/guardians and eligible students information about these rights.

Eugene School District 4J is committed to transparency, family engagement, and student privacy. This document outlines key policies and procedures that protect these rights, including options for reviewing instructional materials, opting out of certain activities, and accessing student records. We encourage families to review this information carefully and contact their school administrators with any questions or concerns. Our goal is to foster collaboration, trust, and a supportive learning environment for all students.
