Beverly Cleary Children’s Choice Award Nominees 2013

Established in 2002, this book award is sponsored by the Oregon Association of School Libraries (OASL) to encourage early reading by highlighting good quality literature (fiction and nonfiction) written on the second – third grade reading level. This contest encourages students to read books they may not otherwise find on their own or which may not necessarily be popular or bestselling books. All elementary school-aged students who have read (or listened to) at least two of the nominated titles are eligible to vote for their favorite book.
