Jan. 16, 2024: 4J schools CLOSED

Tuesday, Jan 16, 2024: All schools and 4J facilities will be CLOSED due to ongoing icy and hazardous conditions. 

Unfortunately, it is clear that the weather will not be on our side as icy and hazardous conditions persist. As such all schools and 4J facilities will be CLOSED tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

We are grateful for our public utility and municipal partners who are working around the clock to ensure power is restored and that roadways are passable. 4J facilities teams have also been out inspecting facilities and addressing hazards as they are identified. Their important work will allow for a safe return to operations once weather conditions improve.

Decisions about the schedule for the rest of the week will be made at a later time. As a reminder missed days may be made up later in the academic year. Staff and families will receive calendar updates as they are made.
