Canvas Outage

Work to restore system is underway

UPDATE Wednesday, March 17: The Canvas learning management system has been restored and is working normally. If a student or parent has a concern about timelines, please contact your teacher or principal.

Tuesday, March 16 — 4J is experiencing issues with Canvas, the learning management system middle and high schools use for class work. Neither students nor teachers can access their classes or assignments at this time.

Work to correct the problem is underway. The system was expected to be restored to normal Tuesday evening, but the outage is continuing. District technology staff are working closely with the Canvas software provider to resolve the issue.

If students are not able to access their classes through Canvas on Wednesday, they should look for email from their teachers with information and Zoom links to their class sections.

We apologize for the difficulty and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.
