4J School Board to Live Stream Video

Previously available by audio stream, virtual board meetings will now also stream live video

You’ve heard their voices. Now you can see them talk. The Eugene School District 4J Board of Directors will hold its first video live-streamed meeting on Wednesday, September 16.

School board meetings have been held virtually since March in adherence to coronavirus restrictions for public health. Meetings have been open to the public via live broadcast on KRVM 1280-AM and via livestream on the internet at www.4j.lane.edu/stream. Audio recordings of board meetings are posted online at tinyurl.com/4Jboardmeetings within 48 hours following the meeting.

Now, the board is adding live video access for the public to tune in to school board meetings.

On September 16 the board will hold its regular meeting beginning at 7 p.m. It will be preceded by a work session at 5 p.m. to discuss board development.

Public comments may be submitted by sending an email to board@4j.lane.edu, with “Public Comment” in the subject line. The board will read, review and take into consideration all comments submitted by 12 p.m. (noon) on the day of the meeting.

For the board meeting agenda and additional information, see tinyurl.com/4Jboardmeetings.
