Churchill Alternative High School

The alternative program at Churchill offers extensive opportunities for independent study and non-traditional methods for completing high school graduation requirements. The program is aimed primarily at students who have dropped out or who are at risk of dropping out, or students who for various reasons have not experienced success in a traditional classroom setting. Instruction is largely individualized and students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and discipline. The alternative school provides a rigorous academic program coupled with experiences that promote emotional and social growth. A strong school-to-work transition program allows students to explore career opportunities while they earn credit.
