Long-Range Facilities Plan

Eugene School District 4J owns and maintains 29 open school buildings serving about 16,000 students. Most of these schools were built in the 1940s to 1960s and many are reaching the end of their useful life.

The district’s long-range facilities plan identifies major school building improvement projects for the next 10 years and calls for the district to submit bond measure requests to voters to fund these improvements.

The plan has been updated based on school board decisions made in 2013 after a thoughtful public process and significant public input.
