4J Math Wiki, A Work In Progress

Purpose: To have a central location for teachers to easily access supplemental materials and resources to teach to the new standards.

What's There? Home Page: On the left hand side teachers will be able to access the 4J Math Standards and Math Correlations to their adopted programs at each grade level.

What's There? Grade Level Page: On this page you will find the Core Standards for that grade level.  Under each Core Standard you will find links to different types of resources.  They include: Lesson Plans, SMART Board lessons, Keynote or PowerPoint presentations, worksheets, links, clickers, podcasts, and vocabulary.

How do we add content to the wiki?
There are several ways to make this happen.  Staff may send files or suggested links directly to Marna Knoer, Math TOSA at knoer_m@4j.lane.edu or files can be sent to your building math teacher leaders.  A panel of grade level teachers will be viewing submissions to  make sure there are no duplications and that they are linked to the correct supporting standards.  We will be searching for a variety of resources that will help us go deeper into the mathematics, address the needs of a variety of learners, and motivate student learning.
