New phone numbers have come to the Eugene School District! Callers who dial an old phone number will
hear a message giving them the new phone number; alternatively, they
can call the main department or school phone number (see below) or
call 541-790-7700 to be transferred. If you have trouble reaching
that number, call 541-687-3123 instead.
Our district and our region are running out of usable phone numbers, and a new area code is coming to our area later this year. By implementing the telephone number conversion now, we can ensure that every 4J telephone will be able to have a consistent area code and prefix — all 4J phone numbers will have the form 541-790-XXXX.
The new numbering system will make more sense to students, parents, and the community, and has other benefits as well. As new technology requires sequential numbering, making this change now will give the district the ability to upgrade older phone systems and enjoy significant cost savings in the future.
