Future Chefs 2019
March 16, 2019 @ Sheldon High School
The idea behind this event is to help educate kids in HEALTHY EATING HABITS. Elementary students submit their own recipes that are healthy and delicious. Selected finalists participate in a one-day cooking competition.
Judging is based on the following criteria:
• Originality
• Kid Friendly
• Ease of Preparation
• Healthy Attributes
• Plate Presentation
• Taste
All finalists receive a framed certificate, a book of all finalist recipes, an apron, and a chef hat.
Local news media may cover the competition and parents and teachers can view (and taste!) the student chef’s creations during the reception portion of the event.
