Students with Severe Allergies

Whether a bee sting reaction or other allergen is the cause, when your student has severe allergies that may be or may become life threatening, then communication, planning, staff training and access to emergency medications are areas where the school nurse will assist. If you do not have access to health care, please contact your school nurse.  If your student has had a life threatening reaction in the past (anaphylaxis), please provide a current emergency care plan each year, along with a medication authorization for each medication that may be needed.
