Spring Break Meal Boxes Available Monday

More youth meal boxes are available for pickup at district office while supplies last

UPDATE: All of the meal boxes have been distributed.

Families who didn’t get a food box before spring break started have another chance.

More free meal boxes for youth are available Monday, March 22, 11 a.m.–5 p.m., while supplies last. Meal boxes can be picked up at the 4J district office, 200 N. Monroe St., around the back of the building. If any boxes remain after Monday’s distribution, they will be offered at the same time and place on Tuesday, March 23.

The meal boxes include ingredients for a week’s worth of breakfasts, lunches and dinners, including fruit, vegetables, sandwich and quesadilla fixings, locally made hummus and house-made blueberry bread.

Vegetarian, no-gluten and soy milk options are available while supplies last.

After spring break, free youth meals will be available by weekly delivery within the district.
