Kids Eat Free This Summer

Free grab-and-go meals available at selected locations June 15–Sept. 4

School’s out for summer, but school kitchens are still cooking for kids. Eugene School District 4J will provide free grab-and-go meals at six school sites this summer.

Meals will be provided from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Monday–Thursday.

Meals are free for all students and youth 18 and younger. Families can choose the location that is most convenient for them, regardless of where they live or attend school, and there are no application forms or income requirements. All are invited to participate.

Sack meals include breakfast and lunch, including hot meal options most days. On Thursdays, distribution includes up to four meals per bag, with some items intended to be consumed immediately and other items to be re-heated or cooked over the weekend. For daily meal offerings, allergens and nutrition information, see the online menu.

Please observe physical distancing rules at all times when picking up meals, maintaining at least 6 feet of distance from any person who is not a member of their immediate household.
