Who is your champion in education? Eugene School District 4J has exceptional people who make a difference for students every day, even while our school buildings are closed.

The district is accepting nominations for the 2020 ACE Awards in four categories: teachers and licensed specialists, administrators and supervisors, classified staff, and volunteers.

Nominating a valued educator or volunteer for the ACE Awards is a wonderful way to honor their incredible talent and dedication, including right now as our 4J community is working hard under challenging circumstances to keep students learning away from the classroom.

Now there’s more time to do just that. Due to the extended school closure, the nomination deadline has been extended a month to April 30. Nominate an outstanding teacher or licensed specialists, classified staff member, administrator or volunteer today! There is no limit to the number of people you can nominate or the number of times a person can be nominated.

One nominee in each category will be named the ACE Award Champion. One nominee also may be recognized with a special lifetime achievement award. Each winner will receive a $250 grant for a 4J school or program of their choosing from the Eugene Education Foundation.

Whether the circumstances allow for an in-person awards ceremony or not, all 2020 ACE Award nominees and champions will be acknowledged and celebrated.
