With the advent of the digital camera on site, we are now able to show some glimpses of what has been going on this spring in out district in regard to staff development and planning.

Jane Harrison our LEAD webmaster shares the new website with Kay Mehas Wallace LEAD Director.

Laurie Moses, Anselmo Villanueva, Stella Dadson, Mike Garling and Karen Harden at a LEAD Team meeting.

A group of North Region administrators traveled to a brain conference at Harvard during the height of the SARS scare.

Principal Sally Huling presented brain friendly classroom strategies to the Instruction Department.

Teamwork - Hands On - Learning by doing about the brain and how it works.

Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) is a technical support agency funded by Wallace Readers Digest to help provide support and analyze what the LEAD Districts need and are doing. SREB is mainly working with the LEAD districts and their relationships with their University Partners.

The quality of technical support is enhanced by the collaboration of local, state, and national leaders in education.

 

During the latter part of April, 2003, several of our Wallace grant LEAD team members attended the SREB conference in Atlanta. There they had the opportunity to share with other LEAD project teams, as well as hear from national presenters.
