The following recommendations are made in the spirit of providing good service and technical support to 4J schools and staffs. There is a bewildering range of technology purchase choices possible, far beyond what 4J staff can provide help with. In order to narrow the confusion we've listed below recommendations for which we can provide support to 4J staff. No product endorsement or quality are implied by this list; its sole purpose is to inform you of the relatively narrow range of items we can support. (When purchasing computers for a specific application, e.g. library automation, check with the person responsible for that application because these general recommendations may not apply.)
