4J Equity Committee Meetings and Minutes

The district’s community-based, educational Equity Committee meets the fourth Tuesday of most months from 4:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m. at the 4J Education Center, 200 North Monroe Street, to help the district plan future activities that deal with nondiscrimination and equity in district programs, respond to community issues, and monitor the implementation of our policies and procedures.

The Equity Committee has helped 4J introduce a system for tracking incidents of harassment or discrimination in its buildings, and helped create an advocacy system for those who may be victims of harassment or discrimination. For more information call 687-3403.
