Spring Creek celebrated its 45th year in 2009 and we are proud of the sense of belonging and community at our school. Spring Creek is a family-oriented school with strengths in teaching basic skills in reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, science, art, health, music and PE. Our skillful, experienced teachers are committed to providing a comprehensive program in a positive, caring environment while preparing our students for success at middle school.

School Improvement Goals:
- Improve reading performance of all students with particular attention paid to closing the achievement gap as measured by statewide (OAKS) achievement tests
- Improve performance of all K–5 students as measured by in-class language arts assessments and 4th grade statewide writing assessment; increase the percentage of students meeting benchmarks in all subgroups
- Develop, implement and monitor targeted group interventions for children at risk for serious behavior problems
Other Information:
In addition to our focus on basic skills, we offer a comprehensive art education program which includes artist-in-residence, classroom art connections and curriculum, and our annual art show and sale. We also emphasize the appropriate and integrated use of instructional technology. The ratio of students to computers at Spring Creek is 3:1 — one computer for every three students — which means regular, meaningful access to technology for every student.
