Goal #1: K-12 Professional Learning Communities
A) Organize and convene building principals two day workshop on the use of data and technology to inform instruction - Digital Divide
The Technology Institute provides an opportunity for new K-12 building administrators to work together and share resources
32% of the building administrators on the K-12 Learning Communities are new to their positions in the 2007-08 school year. This Insititute is critical to the continuation of strong Regional Learning Communities

B) Develop Regional Improvement Plans and follow the leadership professional development activities in the RIP (Regional Improvement Plan)
Support the EDC work in the development of Indicators of Success, relating to student achievment - in Regions
Leadership professional development in eliminating the achievement gap and understanding of cultural competence
Assessment and Evaluation Trainig relating to achievement

Goal #2 Mentorship for New Principals & Aspiring Administrators
A) Promote retention and success of building principals
  1. Mentor assigned to each new principal - meets weekly
  2. New Principals meet as a group monthly

B) Participate in the Oregon Leadership Network in the design of the State Mentor Program
  1. Active member of the OLN team planning

C) Work with COSA in developing the mentor program for new building principals
  1. Meet with COSA leadership

D) Host Aspiring Administrators Field Experiences

Goal #3: Host Spring Statewide Oregon Leadership Network
A) Plan and convene spring statewide Oregon Leadership Network Insitute to be held in Eugene, Oregon

B) Help plan the fall statewide Oregon Leadership Network Insititute to be held in Portland, Oregon
Fall 2007 
C) Clerical to help with all projects and conference

Goal #4: Analyze and Update the Education Leadership Improvement Tool
A) Meet with Lincensure University professors and TSPC representative to review current tool
B) Compare tool and how it lines up with the new state standards for administrators

C) Determine areas that need to be strengthened

D) Work with the University of Oregon and the district LEAD Team to revise as needed
