STEP 1: Log-in

STEP 2: Access OAKS Test Score Analysis

There are two ways in which to access the OAKS Test Score Analysis page.  They will be listed as Option 1 and Option 2 below.

Option 1: Access from the OSA Participants Passing Rates Metric.

  1. Scroll down on your school's home page to view the metrics.
  2. For Mac Users: Hold the Control key and Click the metric titled OSA Participants Pass Rate.  For PC Users: Right Click the metric titled OSA Participants Passing Rate.
  3. From the drop-down box select Test Score Analysis.

Option 2: Access from the Navigation Tree

  1. From the Navigation screen on the left margin of your homepage click the + to expand the tree.

  2. Then click the + next to the folder labeled Eugene SD 4J.
  3. Next click the + next to the folder labeled 4J Administrators.
  4. Then click on the + next to the folder lableled Analytical Dashboards.
  5. Finally click on the + next to the folder labeled Analysis.
  6. Once you have expanded this final folder you will access to two metrics: GPA Analysis and Test Score Analysis.
  7. Click on Test Scores Analysis to access the Test Scores Analysis page.

STEP 3: Sort data by category

  1. In order to sort your students select from each category the grade, OAKS test subject, status, gender, ethnicity, etc of the data you wish to view.
  2. In order to select multiple groups from a single category hold the Command OR Apple () key and Click on each ethnicity you would like to add.
  3. In figure 3 you see that the data has been sorted by three categories. 1) Gender: Male, 2)Ethnicity: Am Indian/Alska Native, Black and Unknown/Unspecified and, 3) OAKS Test Subject: Mathematics.

STEP 4: View Data
a. After you have selected the data you wish to view it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen under the metric titled OAKS Schoolwide for 2007-2008 School Year.
b. To view a detailed list of students who correspond to this data click on the Student Icon Student Icon.
c. To view detailed information for a particular student click on the Student IconStudent Icon that corresponds to their name in the student list.

Test Score Analysis Metrics

STEP 5: Export the data to Excel

  1. From the detailed student list click on the Export IconExport Iconand Save the file to your desktop.
  2. Open the file in Excel in order to view and sort the data.  To sort data:
    1. Select row 10 on the Student Header Line by clicking on the number 10.
    2. When the row is highlighted set up filtering for each category.  From the Excel toolbar select Data: Filter: AutoFilter
    3. You can now sort each category in the order you would like to see the data presented by clicking on the arrows in the corner of each category.
