Academic Calendar Overview
Eugene School District 4J's academic years run from the Wednesday after Labor Day until the middle of June. The number of academic days each year is set by the Oregon Department of Education, governed by state law. The district academic calendar is drafted each year in February and approved by the Eugene School Board in March. Future academic calendars are not valid until approved by the board.
