Eugene School Board Meeting

Rescheduled from Feb. 6, 2007. The superintendent will present his recommendations on Shaping 4J's Future. Public comment will go no later than 8 p.m. Also, the board may choose not to take speakers in the order that they arrive or have submitted speaker cards.

At the meeting, the board asked several questions related to the recommendations that have been answered by district staff.

The board has added an executive session, preceding the regular meeting, at 5:30 p.m. The board will conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to carry on labor negotiations, pursuant to ORS 192.660 (1)(d). The executive session is closed to the public, but members of the media may attend although they may not report on the content of the meeting. All matters discussed during the executive session are confidential and shall not be disclosed by any representative of the news media without authorization by the school board.
