Eugene School Board Meeting & Sustainable Budget Public Hearing

Location: Wheeler Pavilion, Lane County Events Center / Fairgrounds

This is a regular board meeting. The public hearing is the main agenda topic.

To speak at the public hearing on the superintendent's preliminary recommendations for a sustainable budget, fill out a sign-up card at the door. The board chair generally calls people in the order in which the cards were turned in, but the order is up to the board chair.

Speakers will be limited to 3 minutes each. The chair will ask people not to repeat remarks that were made earlier in the hearing by another speaker, but to indicate that they support the point of view that was already expressed.

Representatives from some South and Sheldon region schools also will speak briefly at the beginning of the evening.
