E2100.02 - Student Supervision
Rule:Pupils being transported are under the supervision of the bus driver. Supervision means that the bus driver is in charge of the students while riding the bus and while boarding and unloading at the bus stops. The bus driver does not have the authority to remove a student from the bus while en route to and from school. The bus driver may only let a student off at his or her home bus stop or at the student’s school unless written permission is provided by the parents or legal guardian to permit the student to disembark at another established stop.
