Tweens, Teens & Tech: Info Night

Free workshop on social media, youth safety

WHEN: Tuesday, October 10, 6:00–7:45 p.m.
WHERE: Willamette High School, 1801 Echo Hollow Rd.
FOR: All intere­sted parents and community members

Parents and community members are invited to an information night about social media, the internet and youth safety.

Come for the inside scoop on how to protect your child, tween or teen. Learn about the risks of social media, as well as the reality of its uses in today’s world. Bring your smart phone, tablet or laptop!

This is a free event with presentations from a youth-led leadership program (REV), school resource officer, juvenile prosecutor and other professionals.

The event is organized by the Eugene Coalition Against Sexual Exploitation of Youth (ECASEY), which includes Eugene School District 4J, Springfield Public Schools, Bethel School District, City of Eugene, Lane County District Attorney’s Office, Kids First Center, Junior League of Eugene, Looking Glass and other local agency partners.
