No Outdoor Activities Today (Monday, August 28)

Monday, August 28, 2017 — All outdoor activities in 4J have been canceled or moved inside today for students’ health.

Wildfire smoke has led to unhealthy air quality, and high temperatures with a heat index in the danger zone are forecasted for this afternoon.

The district is monitoring air quality and weather conditions and will make decisions about activities day by day.

For more information from the Oregon Student Activities Association and Oregon Health Authority regarding outdoor activities during poor air quality or high heat conditions, see the following.
