through creative teaching methods that stressed variation and
the seven learning modalities. Winner of "Most Creative Endeavor"
award for leadership with integrated block teams. District mentor
teacher/grant recipient for creation of interdisciplinary "Humanities
Academy" that integrated History, English and Spanish. Voted
(by senior class)"Graduation Speaker of Honor" two years.

Chaired W.A.S.C. review team and School Restructuring Committee.
Led various staff in-services including the development of school
and course outcomes. Acted as middle management liaison between
school administration and teachers. Served as area leader in

Head coach for Bear River Softball: Varsity (1992-93) and
J.V. (1991-92)... Received G.E.L. "Coach of the Year" honors
in 1993 after leading Bear River to state playoffs for the first

discipline techniques to encourage self esteem, intensity, and
a winning attitude.
