My name is Matt Byers and I have been teaching at Roosevelt Middle since the fall of 1995. I have seen many changes since then, but the unique learning environment at Roosevelt and the dedication of the staff remain the same! I have taught many students in numerous classes involving Science, Math, Art, and P.E.! I look forward to meeting the new students that choose to take one of my courses! Some of my hobbies include, time with my family, riding dirt bikes, working on old sports cars, snow boarding, surfing, sailing, renovating old homes, scuba diving, mountain bikes, painting houses, hanging out with longtime friends, renewable energy sources, trapshooting, music from the 70’s & 80’s,islands,& submarines.
